Get it Before it's Out!!! Diddy Dirty Money

Seems That Train To Paris is Finally Pulling In.......
You know I always get that new hotness before the stores do.
Diddy Dirty Money: Last Train to Paris (Deluxe Edition)

Now On the real I gotta say, Diddy and them girls really did their thing. being a T-Dot I'm predisposed to being a bit of hater, just waiting to go screwface on someone. But the majority of the time while listening to this album, my jaw was kind of on the floor. I mean it's Diddy so you can find a bunch of things you wanna say bad about it. BUT,  the production quality is on ppoint, so they deserve full marks for that. It's not just another pop album that sounds exactly like all the other ones. It's got this ecclectic mix of tracks, beats and vibes that are are very past, present and future. There is definitley somewhat of a early to mid 90s  hip-hop vibe that makes me miss the days when De La Soul, The Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest and Arrested Development. Touching  on old school R&B, Jazz and Blues flows with track "Hate You Now" and "Some One to Love Me" that blend well with lyrics like "
When You aint got dough you scratch and you crawl, in yo state of mind, you want somethin', ay you want it all. Look at the sky, wonder when its gon' fall. Cry in the rain so the pain is stalled its too dark, my world is in doom, just cold, my soul howls at the moon".
When that line hits you are taken back cuz Diddy is not the Best rapper alive by any means so it throws you off. You sittin their wonder 'aight, who this dude paying to ghost right his tracks, cuz I sure as hell didn't expect him to go off on Coming Home the way he did until I saw who co-wrote the song.

In anycase Didy is still being Diddy and banking on what's trendy by doing what a few out of the East Coast and MidWest are Doing by blending 90s New York scene hip-hop and dance beats and making them work with contempory flows The few people I think are doing it right are Kanye with his New track with La Roux "That's My Bitch" for JAY-Z's Watch The Throne Nina Sky. And of course the amount of Auto-Tune and 808s  kinda hurts my ears a bit so he loses a few points. And when this dude actually tries to sing....dude I was in tears because of how painful it was to sit through. So if you were to buy it tomorrow or now because iTunes and Amazon got as we speak (avoid the track change on the deluxe edition) recognize that this album is a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. I was reallytryin to find more wrong with it but, had some trouble. Please if you got issues wit dis album DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SAY IT!!!
Hittin you wit that Can't Stop Won't Stop!!!
And as a bonus gift I got their new Music Video that debuts today. This track is easily one of my favourites on the album

Tron Legacy OST

This thing is fire. I had it for about a month and a half but decided to wait til oit got closer to the release date.
Daft Punk brings it, despite haviing to scrap the original score as per Disney's request. Reportedly Disney felt it was too much like a French House album and it would lose its affect on North American viewers and they wanted it to have more of a techno/orchestral score cuz it is amovie after all and gave them about 3 months to do it over again (this is just a report). In anycase I hope you enjoy
