Anderson Cooper is my hero!

I know the whole Haiti crisis is being covered and has nothing to do with this blog but i wanted to share an amazing thing i witnessed on TV. I can't find the video but here are the photos

So i was watching AC 360 last night and honestly Anderson Cooper is probably a true inspiration for all of us. I occasionally watch his show from time to time, now i love watching his show b/c of the man he is. He risked his own life to help a child in need of help, from rocks thrown at him from ppl in the looting, its just truly amazing (shown by the photos above).

Yeah, he is a reporter and didn't need to do that but he is a human being first and i'm so glad that hes there to show ppl whats happening and help out.

I sure didn't see that coming...

This came almost out of the blue for me. Less than5 months after releasing Scars, Basement Jaxx hits us up with another installment titled Zephyr.n. I came across it while browsing HMV. It's got more of an industrial/house sound which as alternative and out there as the album cover. I kind of like it as a whole, but there are definietly some songs that make it worth it. (Which I found were the first two and the last two). I'm not sure I would buy it unless this was my scene.

Okay, I've been listening to this one since about November and the video is a little odd (P.S. I'M SO FUCKING TIRED OF VAMPIRES)but the song is different than what you would hear from a rapper.

It's basically two guys from Yale University that did a remix of a bunch of popular Lady Gaga songs and put them all together. Its actually quite an amazing remix and the singer has a really good voice. He also sings other songs on his youtube account such as a Down by Jay Sean and a Michael Jackson Medley as well. This is a under appreciated album, and Sam Sparro does not get enough play on this side of the world. These guys just kill me with their videos. They are truly out of the box with each of them. Can you name a Basement Jaxx video that isn't just totally out there?
