Taio Cruz North American Release of Rokstarr June 1st 2010

So Taio Cruz is set to release Rokstarr in North America which I am excited about and hope all my other Taio Cruz fans are as well. Any way, after doin a bit of digging and I believe these are the three tracks from the North American release that weren't part of the original release. I wouldd say enjoy, but I know you will.

Y'all need to pay attention to the first song, "Dynamite" which will reportedly be his next North American single.

Los Rakas-Soy Raka and Abrazame (Hold Yuh Remix)

For a few years now Los Rakas have been getting some rotation on Latino music video channels like Mun2. Here's the link to the video for their biggest hit from way back in 2006 Mi Barrio. There music has always been hot, but it seems like they're blowing up more just recently. They're sounds mix classic Hiphop and Hyphy with oldschool Panamanian Reggaeton as well as newer styles from the Left Coast. Below is their video for Soy Raka which starts out with the duo walking up to a group of kids jerkin on the corner and making them cut that bullshit out.
Below the video I put the audio for Abrazame their heavy Español remix of the much-remixed Hold Yuh by Gyptian, a track everybody should know by now and one thats probably going to be a Carribean crossover staple and heard in clubs everynight for years to come, like Turn Me On, Get Busy, or Dance Will Never Die

Abrazame (uproot andy mix) by Uproot Andy

Gill Scott Heron ft. Mos Def-New York Is Killing Me

Nas was on this track first, but I think I like this version with Mos better. There's definitely some quotables in his verses on this

Put ur work to the test

Has anyone heard about this? It's called HITLab and was "created" by Akon and Virgin Records.
Basically, you upload a song most likely your own and it tells you the likelihood that the song will be a hit based on stats and other data from the last 50+ years from Billboard Hot 100.
Sounds kinda fishy with the data and how they actually rate a song. But, it also sound like every unsigned artists dream. It's like an online version of MuchMusic's Disband
I dunno a jury is still out on this one

Jamaica

So... I'm here in Norman Manley International Airport, in Sunny, Sunny Jamaica, I'm really early so i'm really bored. I'm here thinking it would be a shame if I didn't post something, and since I went to Quad night club in JA and met reggae artist Tami Chin picture coming soon... I thought it fitting to post her new video with TIFA. Its called Certified Diva. I didn't see TIFA until the end so no pic with her.

Not something I would normally post but she doing her thing... check out Over and Over by Tami Chin and Spell It Out by TIFA both really good

Consider this a separate post as I created the last post at 6pm and didn't notice one of the player embed codes wasn't workin right until much later. any way I got a bunch of other stuff

This is from a DJ friend a mash up from my boy Kid MK of T.I. and Rusko. Be on the look out for more stuff from him in the future
What You Know About Jahova [Kid MK Mash-Up]byKidMK

Hippies really do it differently Ke$ha-Your Love is My Drug

hey hey

Found this several hours ago, didn't feel like postin it right away cuz I noticed no one posts anything anymore except like 3 ppl and I figured if sum of us are postin EVERYTHING then there's not much else for others to post, so  I figured I would try and let someone beat me to the punch, then I figured... fuck it. If they were gonna do anythin they would post whatever they wanted or even comment on the posts. Maybe not everyone has as much time right now, like they have 'real jobs' or sumthin.

ANYWAY....
We finally got a video for Dirty Money-Hello Good Morning. This one featuring T.I. and Rick Ross who is now officially managed by Bad Boy

I got a next one we all need to hear by Reflection Eternal this is their first single from their new album. The single is titled "Midnight Hour" and it features Estelle

This next one is from that tiny little and lovable Canadian girl Lights. Now I didn't think I was gonna ever post sumthin from her, but I really like it. This one is called "Second Go". It's kinda got this 80s vibe that you can't help but secretly like, especially if you were critical of aspects of the 80s (like Wham!, A-HA, Fine Young Cannibals

Oh I also heard some news from Canada's favourite alternative rapper K-Os has just finished shooting a music video for his track Zambony off of his album Exit. TRUST ME, THIS IS A PRETTY BOMB TRACK.
Next, I found out that the song Shutterbug by Big Boi is just about rapped up shooting for that music video so look out for that one aswell

All ain't really gotta like what I say, just know I'm not always afraid to say it.
Alright, I've said my piece, and with a tip of my hat, I fade into the back

Wednesday, May 12

Alright, Drake and K-Os jus finished most of their American tour and they had a bunch of people join them on the tour such as N.E.R.D. and a relatively new band called Francis and the Lights. October's Very Own has been postin on them for a bit. This is one that I found from them that I quite like.

Okay, now that that's out of the way I got a video from Alicia Keys-Unthinkable. I found the song wayh back when if you remember and told u it was gonna be dope

And I don't care whatever E-40 does, I'm prolly gonna like it.

Now, if you'll excuse me I am gonna go watch Lost on the internet.
I got a next one from Tinie tempah that I think is down right FIRE. Here we go Tinie Tempah ft. Labyrinth-Frisky

Oh boy, I got some more from Chiddy Bang. this one is straight bananas. we don't get a whole lot of Chiddy or stuff from the UK and Chiddy is actually signed to a British label. I find this track to be crazy fun it's off his mixtape The Swelly Express

The British are CominG The British Are Coming!!!

Hey Hey Hey,

i'm back wit sum
jumpoffs, remember, that Chiddy Bang track I posted last week? I forgot to mention that its actually a freestyle (which actually makes it less impressive) and the actual beat is from this grime artist I been hearin about called Tinie Tempah and I think he's starting to get noticed in North America. Isn't that like the 5th artist from the UK makin waves in the N. American market in the like last year? I think we have another British Invasion on our hands.
We Got Taio Cruz, Sugarbabes(again), VV Brown, Keane(always kinda been here), JLS(UK's answer to the boy band trend that is makin a comeback), Tinchy Stryder (who hasn't made a whole lot of waves)

So in case you haven't seen the video or heard of the artist I'm talkin about, now you can't say you have cuz here it is

and oh yeah, I saw this early last week and kinda liked it, and I'm not even a Jason Derulo fan. This one's called ridin Solo

A Rush of Blood From the Head

You can't tell me you don't get even the littlest bit aroused by this video.

"Why Don't You Love Me" - Beyoncé from Beyoncé on Vimeo.

Wale new single "Diary"

Jeezy wit another one

I saw this v ideo on OnSmash. OnSmash had a Miley Cyrus video. I thought I was trippin balls or something. Then I saw the video and thought I really was trippin balls. This kid is clearly tryin to cut all ties wit Disney.

Iknow how ppl feel about Chris Brown right now, but this track is dope

Whether or not you have ever Watched the So You Think You Can dance series (Canadian or American) you'll prolly know Blake McGrath from somethin or other. Now, dude can dance, but I dunno about singin, This track is so heavy wit 808s that it sounds like a completely different person. Hav you ever heard of George or Justin Nozuka? Well that's what his voice sounds like in this. Not tryin to incinuate anything, but I'm just sayin he doesn't sound like himself.

Chiddy bang been makin moves for the last little bit, I heard the freestyle over that MGMT sample and thought, meh. This track called Pass Out is Niiice

Monday, May 3
