Hey guys, I'm back... like a ninja.

It's been a while since I posted this, been busy what with the local anarchist coffee shop closing down. I noticed two ninja things in a row that deserve to be posted.

Die Antwoord live at the Creators Project:

The RZA's Kung Fu movie (this is about a billion times better than Karate Kid)

And because I like things in threes. Fang Island! ( with bad ass Dwight)

Maroon 5 - Misery (New Song 2010)

New Maroon 5 track titled "Misery"
I like it, I really do. Maroon 5 may have sound that is similar on each of thier albums, but is't a sound that works, so why mess with a good thing?

Lauryn Hill

I am personally excited to see her performing again especially old Fugee tracks. The sound is not the best from the videos. The videos are from the Harmony festival in California. These are a couple of the least distorted clips.

RANDOM VIDEO ALERT!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go wit dis next one I saw like yesterday Thus is N.E.R.D ft. Nelly Furtado-Hot 'n' fun. I posted the song a while back and it appears they have finally put a video together. This video honestly looks like nothing they've done before, but a lot like something other people have. Cases and points Ke$ha-Your Love is My Drug and most notably Red Hot Chilli Peppers-Scar Tissue as well as a few more. If you don't believe me jus look them up yourself.

If you guys can see any other videos they are "borrowing" let us know.

And is it just me or do European electronic/dance artists have like one company to go to to make their videos. This is a good song, but it looks like everything made in the last I don't know 5 years.
Here's Breakbot ft. Ifrane-Baby I'm Yours

Kids Grow Up So Fast

For everyone who doesn't watch So You Think You Can Dance anymore (which I know is quite a few)
Justin Bieber released the video for his newest single "Somebody to Love" which is a single I been feeling for about a month and a half now cuz I could see the 'potential hit of the summer' quality to it, which is always good.
Now this track is actually a new remix featuring Usher (as if he wasn't making enough money off this kid, he's gotta try and get a single out of it) and this video is loaded with members of LXD (League of Extrordinary Dancers) and 2 ABDC alumn Poreotix and Beat Freaks.
It's clear they went all out to get as much notarioty for this song as possible. When it comes to Kid Canada's dance skills, they aren't quite there yet clearly so he really does need the amount of dancers that he has in this video. The visuals of this video are quite superb  and quite frankly it's still hard to think that his first single came out last summer. Man, time really does fly.Plus, that random cameo by the black chick from The Vampire Diaries suprised cuz I didn't peg her as a dancer, but then reminded me of this corny trailer I saw with her and Marques Houston which is actually slated to come out this year called Boogie Town which has been described as You Got Served meets Underworld/Twilight (please excuse me while I roll my eyes in dismay).
The only endearing quality is that Brenda Song is in this flick and for the life of me I can't explain why I have such a massive crush on her. I digress, this video also features a bunch of LXD members which brings me to this next post for Step Up 3D coming out this summer. I probably won't watch this one just like I haven't watched the other two, but the dancing seems kinda tight ands the lead female looks damn fine.
I guess what I want to say is that, I'm really getting tired of seeing people dance, have been since Mike died. Dancing just doesn't really seem as good. Plus with the type of consumerism, they flood the market something just because it gets a little bit of attention, it's frickin annoying how they try and shove it down your throught like fast food or  food from The Mandarin because thhey hope that they filled you with enough to still be hungry for more 15 minutes later. It just makes me sick.
Ranting like that reminds me of the most recent single from virtual band Gorillaz called Superfast Jellyfish featuring De La Soul that broaches the subject well and are a lot more clever about it than I am.
I posted it back when the album came out but for all who missed it here you go, it's the first song qued up.
Alright this concludes today's post and enjoy celebrating these videos or picking them apart.
I look foward to seeing what you say, if you have any video responses please show'em, they'd be greatly appreciated.

Fight Music: M.I.A.

In today's installment of Fight Music we got M.I.A.'s second single XXXO witch I posted back in early May.
What's important is that I recently found the official remix wit Jay-Z on it and of course wit Fight Music we put variations of the same track.
So tell me what you think about it, cuz I like both tracks for different reasons, the original is good and lyrical content is on-point. With the remix, I always love Jigga's swag, I can hear the subtle changes made to the beat which gives it more of an electronic vibe than it already does at the same time the newly added percussion arrangement gives it a street vibe that could help with selling this track to the average North American hip hop/pop fan.

In this installmernt of Fight Music I got this wonderful Drake track that I gave y'all a little while back called "Light Up" fresh off that Thank Me Later (out today y'all need to go cop that by the way)

and I found a couple of remixes, the first one features Lil' WAYNE called the Rikers remix

and then we  got a next one that was remixed by Dj Cannon (that nigga is a straight up beast) and on top of remixin the beat, he actually manages to find an unheard Biggie verse that fits perfectly with the song. THAT'S RIGHT I SAID IT A NOTORIOUS B.I.G. REMIX TO LIGHT UP AND IT IS FRESH TO DEATH.

With Great Expectaions come Great Responsibility

Waddup y'all, I found this track the other dayt and I gotta say, Diggy Simmons is really makin a run for mixtape hero of the year.I mean we saw and are seeing how well things are turning out for Drake. Let's hope I don't jinx him right here by saying that. Here we go young blood we know you got the skills in oozing through your veins, but can you deliver? Here  is Diggy Simmons ft. Bei Maejor-Great Expectations

Thank Me Later Listening Party

Listen People, this isn't a Free download, it's more of a Listening Party. Brotha put out free tracks and albums for years, now that he's puttin all his cards and chips on the table, I'm gonna let him get as much as he can from it.
Now whether or not you agree with me, I think Drake might be a victim of his own success.
Drake is so goo that sometimes when his tracks come out, the hype can sometimes kill the track before it actually flies. The track may be dope as fuck, especially the more to the lyrical content and its context, but you end up sayin..."meh" and think it's a bust.
